Can iPower generators run on HVO biofuel

Many modern Cummins and Volvo engines are approved for HVO (EN 15940 compliant fuel) with no modifications required. HVO reduces carbon emissions significantly versus conventional diesel. Contact us to confirm HVO compatibility for a specific model.

What fuel do your generators run on

All generator sets run on diesel. For lower emissions, we can specify engines rated for HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) — a drop-in alternative to diesel that reduces net CO2 emissions by up to 90% and is available across Ireland and the UK.
