Can iPower help with generator specifications for a...

Yes. Our engineering team produces specification documents, acoustic assessments, ventilation calculations, single line diagrams and other technical documentation to support tender submissions or planning applications. We regularly work with M&E consultants, building services engineers and contractors at specification stage.

Can iPower provide factory acceptance testing (FAT)

Yes. FAT is carried out at our Dungannon facility prior to despatch for all bespoke and major project equipment. FAT can include: full-load testing of the generating set, functional testing of ATS panels, noise measurements, acoustic verification, control system testing, and client witness. We provide a full FAT report with the equipment.

Can iPower design ventilation for a generator plant room

Yes. Generator plant room ventilation is a specialist discipline. The airflow requirements of a diesel generator are very large, and noise, exhaust and fire compartmentation requirements of an enclosed plant room must all be considered together. iPower designs complete ventilation packages including intake and exhaust ductwork, attenuators, axial or centrifugal supply fans where natural ventilation is insufficient, and twin-wall flue systems for exhaust gases.

What is a turnkey generator installation

A turnkey installation means iPower takes responsibility for every element — supply, delivery, installation, civil interface, ventilation ductwork, flue systems, fuel storage and delivery, ATS, cable installation, commissioning, testing and handover documentation. You deal with one contractor, not five. This reduces risk, simplifies coordination and gives you a single point of accountability.

Can iPower design and build a completely bespoke generator

Yes. Bespoke design and manufacture is a core competency. We have built generators for crushing, screening, concrete batching and other heavy industrial applications where standard commercial products do not meet the mechanical robustness, environmental exposure, emissions or connectivity requirements. We work from your specification and design the complete generating set, enclosure, control system and ancillaries in-house.
